Join Newport Film Club on Saturday 13th June 2026 as we head to the legendary Plains Rally for a day of motorsport photography in the forests of Mid Wales.
We'll be making our way to the designated spectator area in Dyfi Forest to photograph some of the UK's best rally drivers as they tackle fast gravel stages, flying through the trees and kicking up clouds of dust. Whether you're shooting 35mm, medium format, digital, or simply want to enjoy a day surrounded by fellow photographers, everyone is welcome.
Expect action, atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to capture cool motorsport images. We'll share tips, compare cameras, and enjoy a relaxed day photographing one of Wales' most iconic rally events.
