Join Newport Film Club for a relaxed morning exploring the beautiful landscapes, wildlife and details of the Newport Wetlands on Sunday 21st June 2026.
This photo walk is all about slowing down and looking closer. From sweeping views across the reserve to textures, patterns and small details often overlooked, we'll be encouraging photographers to explore the theme of Texture & Detail throughout the walk.
Whether you shoot film or digital, this is a great opportunity to meet fellow photographers, develop your eye for composition and spend time photographing one of Newport's most unique natural spaces.
Expect reed beds, winding paths, wildlife, changing light and plenty of opportunities to create both intimate and wide-angle images.
Photographers of all experience levels are welcome.

Location: Newport Wetlands
Bring your camera, a fresh roll of film (or memory card), & comfortable footwear.
We will also be finishing in the Cafe for a coffee and cake, where people are more than welcome to join!
