Join Newport Film Club for a unique photography experience at the iconic Newport Transporter Bridge on Friday 12th June 2026.
Thanks to Newport City Council, we've been invited to enjoy exclusive early access to the brand-new Visitor Centre before it officially opens to the public. We'll also have the opportunity to photograph the historic PS Waverley as she passes beneath the Transporter Bridge – a rare sight and a fantastic subject for photographers.
Whether you shoot film or digital, this is a chance to explore Newport's industrial heritage through your lens.
This event is open to photographers of all experience levels. Bring your camera, a roll of film (or several!), and join us for a relaxed afternoon documenting a unique moment in Newport's history.
