Newport Film Lab was started by Ethan Fowler in 2024. An idea that very quickly developed into a well established lab.

Ethan has spent years shooting on film and digital alike and has years of experience in a darkroom printing black & white, colour RA4, along with developing a range of films, such as cross processing E4/C41, and specialising in expired discontinued films such as verichrome.

We wanted to build something that is first and foremost, a community driven lab, offering not only developing but help and support to the beginner and professional looking to expand their knowledge in film photography.

We are extremely proud to be yet another lab that has helped boost the film community’s revival in recent years, and will continue to do so for years to come.
